Abstract
|
|
|
A growing interest in women´s health has been expending to various area and brought about of important issues and invested disciplines.
In this article, It was introduced and discussed about "Women and Health: In Search of a Paradigm" by Chesney & Ozer and also Trippet and Bryson´s "A Model of Women´s Health Nursing"
Chesney and Ozer proposed a framework to serve as a guide for organizing seven themes and integrating competing approach to the field of women´s health.
Trippet and Bryson developed a holistic model of women´s health. The model is based on women´s conscious awareness of problems existing in eight identified categories.
Research for the women´s health will conducted in multidisciplinary approach about women´s unique experience and illness through the women´s life span.
Women´s health practitioner have to practice "woman centered practice" which respects and concerns with women´s right, knowledge and autonomy as well as focused health promotion and well being.
Medical and nursing curriculum have to include extended issues and problems about women´s health.
